A Little about Michelle

I was born one day, late April, in the evening of the year 1971. Since that day I have been through a lot that many people only think of when their children grow up and leave home. In my short 30 years I have seen death, marriage, divorce, happy days and sad, watching my friends children grow up, friends killing themselves, met family members for the first time, graduated high school and college, been in a few friends weddings, purchased my first home, and just started traveling this nation I live in.

My biggest excitement lately is the purchase of my new condo in 2001. It's nice to know that my rent will never increase again. Except the HOA dues. That is life. Since I have purchased my condo, I have done a lot of home improvements. All has been rewarding to see the finished product. I have added shelves above my sliding glass door of a wall in the living room. Put a new ceiling fan in the dinning room after putting up 2 x 3 pieces of mirrors to cover one wall. I put Oak shelves above my fish tank in the dinning area. I have replaced the light fixture in the hallway and added cabinets in my bedroom for storage. I have had a lot of fun with the bathroom. I have almost completely remodeled it. I tore out the old vanity and replaced it with a linen tower and smaller vanity, new medicine cabinet, towel racks, shower rods, and a paint job. I like it much better now. In 2004 I am hoping to replace the carpet in the living room, dinning room and hallway with wood floors. In 2005 I'm hoping to completely remodel the kitchen. I purchased a new stove Jan. 2004. It will be nice to have cupboards that are below my eye level and with in reach. It will be a nice face-lift to what it has now. After that, I'll be done with improvements for a while. I need to work on getting my second bedroom organized so I can have company.

I have one brother. He lives in San Diego. It's hard to believe that my Niece will be 11 in 2002. For Christmas I took them both to Disneyland and California Adventures for the weekend. We had a lot of fun. Got to see the Haunted Mansion all decorated up with Nightmare Before Christmas theme. A neat touch and a lot of fun. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and had Tinker Bell flying around the top of our room. It was a nice room.

Some things I like to do in my life... I would like to take a trip and see the National Parks and Monuments in Utah, Wyoming, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Oregon, and South Dakota. I like photography and believe I'd be able to use my love for it to take pictures of these wonderful places made by nature. I also like amusement parks. I am hoping to plan a trip to Magic Mountain soon. I want to ride the new X ride now that it is open. I usually like going to Magic Mtn when it is Halloween time. They run rides backwards, have haunted houses, and run some of the rides in the complete dark. It's a lot of fun. I enjoy the outdoors, like hiking, and camping. I also like the water. Growing up in San Diego and spending my weekends at the beach when younger is a pleasant memory. Some day I hope to learn to Scuba so I can enjoy the water more. I would like to travel to Europe and see the ancient ruins, artwork, and architecture. It would be neat to see the things I studied in High School and College. Speaking of school, I would like to go back in the Fall of 2002 and complete a four year degree.

Well, I've made it back to school, now I just need to pick a Major for my four year degree. I'm hoping someday I'll meet my match made in heaven to spend the rest of my days with. Haven't had much luck in the past, but one does learn from their mistakes.
